Pine Cove
502 29th St. – Pine Cove has long been a source of good times, especially late night and during karaoke. With karaoke 3 nights a week, and drink specials almost every night, it’s a great stop or a great destination. They also offer Monday movie night and more, check ‘em out.

The Shack
5201 Folsom Blvd. – One of the best beer selections on or near the grid, the shack has a great patio and a knowledgeable staff. They offer beer tasting every Tuesday, trivia every Wednesday, furlough Friday every… Friday, and brunch every weekend. The Shack does close around 8 so be sure to get in there early enough to get your fill.

Ink Eats & Drinks
2730 N St. – Always a good time, Ink’s fun staff and creative list of weekly events is dependable. Monday movie night, tattoo Tuesday, food pairing every second Wednesday and Bloody Mary bar during weekend brunch are reasons to return to this established restaurant/hot spot. They’re also open for late night dining seven nights of the week and the food is awesome, sober or not.

de Vere’s Irish Pub
1521 L St. – Ok, first of all let’s separate the Sun-Tue de Vere’s from the weekend de Vere’s, they deserve two different reviews. During the week it’s a great place to chill out and have a brew or a cup of coffee, use your laptop and have a bite. With live Irish music on Sundays, pub quiz on Mondays and whiskey tasting on Tuesdays, it’s a great place for a date, to take your parents, out of town guests etc. On the weekends, it’s a great place to pick up or get picked up.
